The Provincial Health Office Samar successfully conducted a training on Specimen Collection, Handling, and Transport for Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern on October 14-16, 2025. This activity aims to strengthen the capacity of our local health workers in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe handling of specimens essential for disease surveillance and public health response.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Resource Speaker from DOH-RESU for sharing their valuable expertise and updates and also Governor Ann Tan for supporting our programs in public health.
