


“𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊: The University of Santo Tomas Graduate School–Center for Conservation of Cultural Property and Environment in the Tropics (UST-CCPET) and the UST Sentro Turismo, together with researchers from Northwest Samar State University (NwSSU) and Samar State University (SSU), presented the Province of Samar’s Sustainable Cultural Management and Development Plan (2025–2024) and the Sustainable Strategic Tourism Development Plan (2025–2034) to the employees, department heads, and stakeholders of the Provincial Government of Samar.
The Cultural Plan outlines strategies for preserving, promoting, and integrating local heritage into development efforts, while the Tourism Plan charts a 10-year roadmap to position Samar as a premier sustainable and culturally grounded tourism destination. The activity culminated in a pledge of commitment, signifying collective support in advancing the province’s cultural and tourism goals.”
