The Provincial Health Office (PHO) successfully conducted the Orientation on Human Resource for Health (HRH) Development System and HRH Assessment Systems on October 13–14, 2025, aimed at strengthening the province’s health workforce management and development initiatives.
The activity focused on enhancing the capacity of health managers and HRH focal persons in the effective implementation of HRH systems and processes. It also emphasized the importance of aligning with standardized tools such as the Health Workforce Assessment and Monitoring and Evaluation Tool (HWAMET) and institutionalizing the Learning and Development Needs Assessment (LDNA) to ensure data-driven planning and evidence-based human resource interventions.
Serving as the Resource Speaker was Ms. Jenn T. Cinco from the Provincial DOH Office (PDOHO), who shared her expertise and valuable insights on the utilization of HRH systems to improve workforce performance and service delivery at the local level.

Through this initiative, the Provincial Health Office reaffirms its commitment to continuously improve the management and development of its human resources for health toward achieving a more efficient, responsive, and sustainable health system in the province.
