The Provincial Government of Samar reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening peace and order efforts in partnership with the Philippine Army during the 37th Founding Anniversary celebration of the 8th Infantry Division (8ID) on August 8, 2025. Governor Sharee Ann Tan, speaking before military officers, personnel, and guests, expressed her steadfast support for the divisionβs mission of maintaining stability and security in the province.
In her message, Gov. Tan congratulated the 8ID on its milestone and lauded its unwavering dedication to service. She emphasized that the Provincial Government will always stand as a reliable ally, working hand in hand to safeguard communities and ensure the safety of every Samarnon.
