



The recently concluded Tandaya Festival of Festivals brought vibrant colors, spirited performances, and an unforgettable celebration of culture and identity, as two powerhouse festivals claimed the top prize. Catbalogan Cityβs Manaragat Festival and Calbayog Cityβs Hadang Festival emerged as co-champions, tying for the Champion Title in this yearβs much-anticipated showdown of the provinceβs best. Both champions received a cash prize of P1 Million.
In equally impressive performances, the Pahoy-Pahoy Festival of Calbiga secured 2nd Place, while Sta. Margaritaβs Alimango Festival clinched 3rd Place, earning well-deserved admiration from the crowd. They will take home P500,000 and P300,000, respectively. Meanwhile, all non-winning participants will receive a consolation prize of P150,000 each.
The spotlight also shone brightly on this yearβs Festival King and Queen, who embodied the grace, strength, and spirit of Samarβs cultural heritage:
