The Provincial Capitol of Samar was illuminated in the colors of the Philippine flag—blue, red, white, and yellow in celebration of the country’s 126th Independence Day.

The lighting symbolizes the province’s pride and unity with the nation in honoring its history and freedom. Governor Ann Tan emphasized that the display serves as a tribute to Filipino resilience and patriotism.

The Capitol will remain lit throughout Independence Week, inviting the public to reflect on the spirit of nationhood.
