The Provincial Government of Samar received two units of response vehicles for the Samar Emergency Response Team today, June 9, 2025, from the Department of the Interior and Local Government. These vehicles were funded through the FY 2023 Seal of Good Local Governance Incentive Fund (SGLGIF), with the province receiving β±4 million as a recipient of the Seal of Good Local Governance Award in 2023.
Board Member Fe Tan-Arcales, representing Governor Sharee Ann Tan, expressed gratitude to all members of the Provincial Local Government Unit (PLGU) who have worked diligently to provide quality service to all Samarnons.
The Seal of Good Local Governance Award is a recognition program that evaluates the performance of local government units in delivering public services. The Province of Samar has been an awardee in 2016, 2019, 2023, and 2024.
