In a powerful display of unity, the Provincial Health Office Samar, in collaboration with Samar Rainbow Project, Stellars Society, Philippine Information Agency Samar, and Provincial Population Office successfully conducted an advance commemoration of World AIDS Day today November 13, 2025 at Tandaya Hall, Catbalogan City, Samar.
The event brought together Local AIDS Council Members, student leaders, Samar HACT core teams, LGBTQIA+ advocates, and various community-based organizations. Attendees were inspired by resource speakers Dr. Rubelle Reyes-Apilado and Mr. Nars Vince , along with a special surprise inspirational speaker.
This gathering served to reaffirm a collective commitment to strengthening the local HIV response, promoting awareness, and fostering a healthier, stigma-free community for all. The event was a true testament to the power of shared purpose in the ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS.
