Truckabataan successfully made its way to Silanga National High School, delivering a day of meaningful engagement, youth-centered activities, and essential services aimed at empowering our young learners.
Truckabataan — a mobile youth initiative that brings government programs, services, and information directly to communities — serves as a platform to promote health, education, participation, and leadership among the youth. It is designed to reach young people where they are, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility for all.

This initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration between the Province of Samar spearheaded by Governor Sharee Ann T. Tan, the Provincial Health Office (PHO), the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO), Ospital sa Barangay (OSB), and with the invaluable support of the Catbalogan City Health Office. Their unified efforts continue to play a vital role in promoting youth development, health, and well-being across the province.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the faculty and staff of Silanga National High School for their warm welcome, active participation, and steadfast support in facilitating this event. Their dedication to nurturing the next generation greatly contributed to the success of this initiative.
Through Truckabataan, we reaffirm our commitment to bring opportunities closer to the youth—ensuring they are informed, engaged, and empowered to become proactive and responsible members of their communities.
