The Provincial Government of Samar has officially launched the Spark Games 2025, a multi-day sports festival designed to promote camaraderie, teamwork, and wellness among its employees. The friendly competition unites employees from various departments, offering a chance to showcase talent, foster connections, and strengthen bonds beyond the workplace.

Provincial Administrator Fe Tan-Arcales opened the event with an inspiring message, underscoring the deeper purpose of the games. “Today, we are gathered not just as colleagues or public servants, but as members of a shared community,” she said.
“The Spark Games is more than a competition. It is an opportunity to strengthen the ties that help us work better together, to recharge our spirits, and to celebrate the diverse talents within our provincial government,” the provincial administrator added.
She further encouraged participants to approach the games with fairness, inclusivity, and good humor. “Let us celebrate each achievement, learn from every challenge, and take this chance to connect with colleagues we may not usually work with. May this experience refresh your commitment to public service and inspire you to return to work with renewed energy and camaraderie,” she added.

For Spark Games 2025, departments are grouped into clusters and will compete in a wide variety of activities, including basketball, volleyball, badminton, chess, e-sports like Mobile Legends, and cultural dance competition such as Kuratsa, and a TikTok Showdown.

Through programs like Spark Games, the Provincial Government of Samar continues to uphold its commitment to integrity, creativity, and excellence in public service. By investing in the well-being of its workforce, it fosters a positive work culture where collaboration, health, and productivity thrive.
