The Province of Samar actively participated in the nationwide Handog ng Pangulo Serbisyong Sapat, Para sa Lahat held today, September 13, 2025, at the Tandaya Hall in Catbalogan City.

In his message, Atty. Ernesto V. Perez, Director General of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA), emphasized that public service is a privilege, and it should inspire each of us to do better. Government service must be felt by every Filipino, by each individual, family, barangay, community, and the entire nation. His reminder highlighted the importance of efficient, accessible, and people centered governance.

The Serbisyo Caravan served as a one stop hub for government services, bringing programs and assistance directly to the people. Among the services provided were medical consultations, agricultural support, social protection programs, and employment opportunities.

The event also featured a job fair, distribution of livelihood and financial assistance, trade fair, and seed distribution for farmers and agricultural workers. These initiatives not only addressed immediate needs but also promoted long term development, empowering individuals and communities to become more self reliant.

In her testimony, Ms. Rowena Amit, a beneficiary of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), expressed her gratitude. She said, “This is a big opportunity for me, a chance to improve my life and provide better for my family.” Her story reflected the transformative impact of government interventions when services are delivered inclusively and directly to the people.

Through this caravan, the Provincial Government of Samar together with national agencies reaffirmed its commitment to bringing government closer to the people, promoting inclusive growth, and ensuring that no one is left behind.
